As you know you can hide your primary email address from non-friends but if by mistake you add a unknown person to your friend list, then he/she will be able to see your primary email address which you use to login. He can send dangerous emails (keyloggers etc.) and steal your Orkut account. There are two Methods to be safe:


1. Changing Primary Email:
Go To Edit Profle Page of your profile, then click on COntact tab and change your Primary Email address to some other id, which you don't use much. Your login id will remain same but your friends will see your other email id.

2. Using Fake Email id:
It is the most effective way of hiding email id, but it requires a new account, If you have some larger communities and want safety, then follow this method:

 Create a new Orkut account, On the Sign Up page enter any id which does not exist like yourname@yourname.com, me@orkutaccount.com etc.
Then after entering other details, you will be redirected to your home page and with a message "Verify Your Email", Just igonore it and do as stated below
Now Go to google.com, you will see your fake id on the top-right corner yourname@yourname.com, You can see "My Account" Option there.
Go To "My Account Page" and create a gmail id from there. (You can see it under Try Some More)
Done! You have your new login id but your friends will still see your fake id :| Enjoy

There are some common virus that can spread and infect your computer through USB drives. These viruses include ‘Ravmon‘, ‘New Folder.exe‘, Orkut is Banned ‘ and some other common viruses. Most antivirus either do not detect these viruses or do not remove them (just quarantine them).

Here are the things to do if you want to remove these virus from your USB and want to have a virus free flash disk. 

- When you connect USB with your computer, you will get a window asking you what to do. Choose ‘Cancel‘ here.
- Open command prompt by typing ‘cmd‘ in Run box (from Start > Run OR press WIN+R). In thecommand prompt, write ‘drive letter:‘ and press Enter (let us say your USB is E so you will write E:).
- Now type ‘dir /w/a‘ and press Enter.
- This will display a list of files in your flash drive, check if these files are there or not 

Autorun.inf
Ravmon.exe
New Folder.exe
svchost.exe
Heap41a
or any other exe file which may be suspicious.

- If any of the above file is there, that means USB is infected by viruses.
- Type ‘attrib -r -a -s -h *.*‘ in command prompt and press Enter. This will remove the Read Only, Archive, System and hidden file attritude from all the files.
- Now just delete the files using the command ‘del filename‘ (for example, to delete a file with name abc.exe I will use ‘del abc.exe‘).
- Your USB now does not have any suspicious file in it. To be on safe side you can now check it with any antivirus to see if it has any such file.
- Now remove the drive and plug it again. Most probably the real culprit turns out to be the “Autorun.inf” which mostly gets executed on pressing OK in the dialogue window (the one shown above). Thus the virus can spread.

Security Tip:-
Disable the Autoplay feature of USB drives so that there are almost no chance of virus spread. Tweak UI can do it for you, you can download Tweak UI software from here and install it. Run the program and disable the Autorun feature of USB drives as shown below.

Let us follow the below step by step process to Change Your IP Address easily:

1. Go to "Start"  menu

2. Click on "Run"

3. Type in "command" & click ok

Now MSDOS prompt screen will appear.

4. Type "ipconfig /release" and press "enter"

5. Type "exit" and leave the prompt

6. Again Go to "Start"  menu and go to “control panel”

7. Go to “Network and Internet Connections” & then go to “Network Connections”

You should now be on a screen with something titled "Local Area Connection", or something close to that, and, if you have a network hooked up, all of your other networks.

8. Right click on the "Local Area Connection" and go to "properties"

9. Now double-click on the "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" from the list under the "General" tab

10. Go to "Use the following IP address" under the "General" tab
11. Create an IP address (eg: 192 . 168 . 2 . 4).

12. Press "Tab" and it will automatically fill the "Subnet Mask" section with default numbers.

13. Click "Ok" button here

14. Click "Ok" button again

Now "Local Area Connection" screen will appear.

15. Again Right-click on the "Local Area Connection" and go to properties again.

16. Again Go back to the "TCP/IP" settings

17. This time, select "Obtain an IP address automatically"

18. click "Ok"

19. click "Ok" again

20. Now you have a new IP address

Ø  This is only changes your dynamic IP address, not your ISP/IP address.

Ø  Please Don’t try to hack any websites by following this trick(because it only changes your dynamic IP address, not your ISP/IP address) and don’t get into troubles.
